Feature Highlights
The M0.8 cine lenses were created to bring the same characteristics into the world of digital cinema. With their fast aperture and clear rendering of light, these lenses offer consistently high-quality images as expected from Leitz.
These Leitz M0.8 lenses were the first offering from the Leitz Cine range. For over 60 years, the M full frame lenses captured outstanding and iconic images, making Leica famous in the 1950’s & ‘60’s. Deciding to create a moving-picture version, they de-clicked the T-stop ring and the focus rig was given smoother movement. Each lens was rehoused with a gear pitch of 0.8mm, and so the M0.8 was created!
