Job Details:

Shift 4 have been supplying bespoke film equipment packages to the TV and Film industry for more than 30 years. With branches in London and Manchester, and an extensive inventory of equipment, we supply clients working in all areas of production, from drama and commercials to documentaries and entertainment.

With the recent easing of restrictions, and subsequent upturn in business, we are currently recruiting for experienced Account Managers. This is a full-time position based at our North London branch. Salary commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on the availability and prices of equipment, preparing quotations/estimates
  • Taking bookings by phone and email
  • Preparing rental agreements using our in-house database system
  • Liaising with Engineering and Warehouse Departments as necessary e.g. when kit is to be despatched, returned, damaged or missing etc.
  • Ensure that all records are completed and maintained
  • Support new clients through the process of setting up account facilities
  • Liaising with our internal Accounts Department in respect of invoicing clients
  • Ensure all technical queries are passed to our Engineering Department
  • Ensure all associated paperwork is completed on time
  • Assessing client’s needs and liaising with MD, Sales, Rental & Technical departments to satisfy client’s requirements
  • Account Managing

 Key Skills:

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage schedules effectively, meet strict deadlines, and maintain professionalism and accuracy is key
  • It is essential that the candidate has an excellent telephone manner
  • Strong computer literacy with knowledge and experience of database systems, accounts packages and has the aptitude to learn our own systems
  • A technical aptitude is required as you will need to become familiar with our equipment, (training will be given)

Job Details:

We are currently recruiting for our tech department, and require Kit Room Technicians / Drivers for the preparation of hire equipment.

The first 3-6 months of the role will primarily be a driving position – although Kit Room training begins immediately – delivering and collecting equipment to/from our clients. You will then progress to the Kit Room to assist with the maintenance and prep of our huge range of camera, sound, lighting and grip equipment.

Candidates must have a full, clean, driving licence ideally issued prior to April 2020. No experience is required although a technical interest/background would be beneficial. This role is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain in-depth knowledge of camera, sound, lighting and grip equipment.

This is a staff position, 5 days per week including some shift & weekend work, based at our HQ in North London.

Job Details:

We are currently recruiting for our tech department, and require experienced Senior Kit Room Technicians for our North London HQ.

Ideally, candidates will have a minimum of 2+ years experience working within in a Broadcast / Film rental facility, and have an extensive working knowledge of cameras, lenses, and lighting & grip equipment etc.

The role will involve the preparation and checking of broadcast equipment, as well as supporting clients and junior technicians with technical advice, demos and training.

Attention to detail, time management, people management and a positive and professional approach are essential in this role.

A full, clean, driving licence is also required.

This is a staff position, 5 days per week including some shift & weekend work. Salary to commensurate with experience.
