Leitz SUMMICRON-C primes lenses cover more than s35 so that they perform highly across the entire frame even when wide open. All the lenses in the set are light weight and compact and their optical design produce images with high contrast and high saturation in colours.

The Leitz SUMMICRON-C set are large format cine lenses housed in a lighter, more compact body, making them the ideal hire in situations where the weight of the camera needs to be kept at a minimum, though quality has not been spared. These lenses are perfect for stabilized rigs, aerial cinematography, underwater cinematography, and stereoscopic 3D.

As sensors on digital cameras get larger, lenses need to be adaptable to match, and the SUMMICRON-C’s are ready to perform. These lenses have been built to specifically adhere to high ASA/ISP digital cameras in mind, and though they remain compact, they give great depth of field. The lenses each have an image circle wider than 35mm in diameter, meaning they easily cover sensors from top-end digital cameras (Sony, ARRI Alexa, RED).
Since 2013 the Leitz SUMMICRON-C lenses have been blazing a trail in the industry.
