 Neil Burn : Founder & MD
Coming from a strong sound and music background, Neil has recorded and mixed several of the BBC's John Peel sessions from 1977-79, working with artists such as The Cure, Elvis Costello, New Order and Siouxsie and the Banshees. With several years of TV sound operations in both Studio and OB he became Sound Supervisor at TVAM before setting up Shift 4 Broadcast Facilities in 1988. Since then the company has continued to grow to become one of the largest specialist location camera equipment rental companies in the UK, retaining its family like atmosphere and strong loyalty from both freelancers and production companies alike.
 Alex Thompson : Facilities Manager
Al has been working at Shift 4 for over 10 years, originally as a camera assistant working on numerous location shoots, giving him an excellent understanding of the equipment and the requirements of freelance crews and clients. He's handled a vast array of shoots, large and small, across the UK and Worldwide. Al is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company as well as handling bookings and enquiries.

Alex Trezies : Facilities Manager
Alex has over 9 years experience within broadcast TV and joined us in 2007 having previously been Facilities Manager at Hammerhead TV (London). He has in-depth knowledge of camera equipment, having earlier been a camera assistant, and an excellent understanding of customers and freelancers requirements and expectations. Alex always goes that extra mile to ensure each shoot goes smoothly and has all the technical support it needs. He handles contract negotiations, bookings and account management, as well as assisting Al with the day-to-day running of the company..

 Trish Little : Facilities Co-Coordinator
Trish has a vast amount of experience in broadcast TV spanning 26 years, handling contracts, crewing, facilities management, scheduling and numerous other roles. She has been at Shift 4 for 4 years and has been responsible for the negotiation and logistics of numerous popular TV programmes such as Cash in The Attic, Car Booty, Escape to the Country and Great British Menu.

 Dan Jarmany :
Customer Service & Marketing Manager
Dan started at Joe Dunton Cameras' R&D department in the early 80’s when he was involved with numerous Features such as Legend, Another Country and The Mission. After a period as a Futures & Options trader in the City, he has now been with Shift 4 for over 7 years, having spent 4 years at Hammerhead TV as their New Business manager. Dan handles customer service, marketing & new business negotiations.

Jason Coop : Operations Manager
After starting out at ARRI Media in 1993, Jason went on to gain valuable experience in the freelance industry, working as an Assistant Cameraman on a vast range of productions. Blockbusters such as Starwars, Harry Potter and Troy; Low budget indie films such as Adulthood and numerous TV dramas, commercials, promos and corporate films. This knowledge and experience enables Jason to understand and address the many challanges that camera technicians may encounter. He's responsible for the management of our equipment department and staff.

Gill Gallagher : Accounts
Our very own own credit cruncher, keeping a tight control on the money! Gill ensures suppliers and freelancers are paid promptly and keeping our books in order.

Liam Lynch : Engineer
Liam has been at Shift 4 since 1996 and is responsible for the maintenance of our equipment, both electronic & mechanical, including the servicing and repair of our cameras. He also oversees Health & Safety issues.

 Richard Davies. Resources Manager
Joining Shift 4 in 2004, Richard ensures we have all the stock supplies and resources necessary for the smooth running of the company, including the management of our vehicle fleet. He also assists and supports our Equipment Manager in overseeing and implementing operational procedures within the Equipment Department.

Mark has been with Shift 4 since 2004 and is our in-house sound recordist with a wealth of experience working on a wide variety of Broadcast & Corporate productions.
